From Carrie...
When I left Erie in June 1999, I went to work for WITN-TV in Greenville, NC.  I was there for a little over three years.  While there, I covered Hurricane Floyd and learned first hand the devastation mother nature can cause.  I worked various shifts, but my favorite was co-anchoring a live entertainment and news show from 5pm to 6pm each day.

In September of 2002, I moved to Biloxi, Mississippi where I took a job as the weekend meteorologist.  While here, I have covered Hurricanes Isabelle, Lili, Ivan, Dennis and Katrina.  I was working before, during and after Hurricane Katrina.  The aftermath, here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast was the most horrific site I’ve ever seen.  There was absolute and utter devastation everywhere you turned.  It was a time I will never forget.  I will also never forget being a part of this community and watching it be re-built.  There are truly inspiring stories down here. I certainly wish it had never happened, but I’m very glad to be a part of it.
