From Locke...
Following my stint in Erie I went to Grand Junction Colorado and was Chief Met at the CBS affiliate.
There I enjoyed the high desert climate and perfected my snow boarding and fly fishing for several years.
I then took a job with the ABC in West Palm Beach and worked mornings and became the tropical weather
forecaster based at the National Hurricane Center near Miami reporting for several Hearst stations.
In 2004 I returned to my hometown of Pittsburgh and joined KDKA. It was good timing as Rebecca Hower,
the morning forecaster would be taking seven months off for her first child so it was back to mornings.
In 2006 a good friend that owns a Florida production house asked me to join him in a new venture
with NBC-ION. Since then I have been hosting market specific shows across the country for ION.
It's a good fit as I work a full week and host 35 shows over a 5 day stretch. Then have 2 weeks off until the next market.
I bought some acreage with a private lake not far from my house in Pittsburgh. So you'll
find me playing with the fish and skinny dipping in between markets.
